IRC is the Internet Relay Chat, a service like Web or eMail, with which we can talk over the Internet. You need to have an IRC-Programm which you can find here. We recommend you :

mIRC32 for 32bit-Windows (708kByte)

mIRC16 for 16bit-Windows (794kByte).

Once you have uncompressed and installed the software, then connect to the Internet on the day an hour we decided (like you would do go to the Web) and start the IRC program. You will then been asked for a name, an email adress and a nickname.

Because there are many people at the same time chatting in IRC, we recommend you to use an special name (for example : Thomas Meier don't use Tom but MeiTom or so). You can also have a second name in case your nickname is allready in use.

Then click in the serverlist on DALNet: EU, Ge, Bielefeld or another DALNet server. Then you'll see a window with the frequently used chat rooms. Just type in #kelly and click on JOIN. It will then begin. If the window doesn't appear, just click on the 5th symbol "Channel Folder" or in the menu on Commands -> Join Channel. Have fun !
